St. Malachy’s primary curriculum focus is its religious mission. We emphasize and strive to help all students, Catholic and non-Catholic, to cultivate a strong relationship with God, a sound understanding of scripture, and actively participate in the fundamental teachings of the Catholic faith, rituals, and traditions. Students receive religion instruction on a daily basis, beginning with whole school morning prayer and through the integration of Catholic teachings in the entire academic curriculum. Through the integration of religion students are empowered to develop and strengthen their Christian foundation.
Sacraments
Students are prepared to receive their Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Parents and Sponsors whose children will receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion attend a family treat and catechesis classes throughout the year their children are prepared.
